Cottage cheese is a great option for your breakfast.
Not only is it very low in fat but it also has a great amount of protein to keep you going all morning.
You can choose one that has around 4% of fat but really, as long as there is less than 20 %, it is a great choice.
You can eat it as is if you do not mind or actually like the lumps.
But you can you also use a blender to make the texture creamier. As you wish.
So here are my 5 ideas to make your cottage cheese special in the morning.
- Honey Berry’s favorite
Add a little touch of honey to the cottage cheese and sprinkle the ground flax seeds over it, mix it all together.
Spread the cottage cheese on your crackers and top with mixed berries.
Mix the vanilla extract and little pieces of pineapple into the cottage cheese.
Add the cottage cheese on top of the oat meal and sprinkle everything with the pistachios.
