Basic cooking skills : will you pass the test ?


As I said in a previous post, we started cooking roughly 1.9 million years ago.
Things have changed since !

On the left we have a prehistoric knife carved from a stone. On the right we have a ‘very intricately crafted Nesmuk luxury cooking knives made from 400 layer Cocktail-Damascus with a cutting edge of finest carbon steel’ (647 Swarovski elements included along with sapphire and ruby coloured crystals). And today you can order a meal that sounds like this :  ‘Grilled Texas Nilgai Antelope with Caramelized Apricots, Apricot Agri-doux, Glazed Couscous, Ginger Infused Apricot Puree, Asparagus Tips and Red Wine Jus”.

I highly encourage you to cook your own meals as much as possible if you hope to achieve healthy eating habits.
As a nutritionist I know that this has a huge impact on the quality of the food you eat and therefore the quality of your overall diet.
